Royal’s Vimath Dinsara to lead Sri Lanka U19 against Bangladesh U19

By M. SHAMIL AMIT Vimath Dinsara of Royal College, Colombo has been selected to lead the 15- member Sri Lanka Under- 19 team against the visiting Bangladesh Under-19 team.

The two teams will play six Youth ODI matches with all scheduled to be played in Colombo at Colts, CCC and SSC grounds. The team comprises of two from Royal, Colombo, two from Trinity, two from Mahanama Colombo and one each from St. Servatius’, Matara, Kingswood, Ananda, Gurukula MV Kelaniya, Lyceum IS Wattala, St. John’s, Jaffna, Hartley College, Jaffna, Zahira Colombo and St. Anne’s Kurunegala.

The tour will get underway with the visitors playing a warmup match on April 24 at the Colts ground. The six Youth ODI matches will be played from April 26.

Match Schedule: April 26 – 1st ODI at CCC.

April 28 – 2nd Youth ODI at CCC.

April 30 – 3rd Youth ODI at Colts.

May 3 – 4th Youth ODI at CCC.

May 5 – 5th Youth ODI at SSC.

May 8 - 6th Youth ODI at Colts.
