Richmond Legends post ninth victory

Chamil Perera with an unbeaten 72 and Samantha Lorensuhewa with 34 not out and three wickets, steered Legends of Richmond to a five-wicket win over Ananda Masters in a Masters 30 overs encounter played at the Nationalised Services Cricket Association ground recently. 

From 2022, Legends of Richmond have continued to dominate veterans’ cricket under the outgoing captain Dilshan Amarasinghe, winning nine out of 10 played in 2025. Saluka Wijesiri and Prasanna Ramanayake are tipped to be appointed as the captain and deputy for the year 2026.
