Rathnayaka CC Under-18 Girls’ 4X800m Relay Team

St. Joseph Vas Boys’ Under-18 4X800m Relay Team

Rathnayaka CC, Walala and Lyceum, Wattala were ahead in the Boys’ and Girls’ overall championship on the second day of the third Ritzbury Inter-Schools Age Group Relay Meet 2025, at the Mahinda Rajapaksa Sports Complex in Diyagama yesterday.
The meet, conducted by the Sri Lanka Schools Athletic Association and sponsored by Ritzbury, is being held in five age groups (Under-12, 14, 16, 18 and 20) for Boys’ and Girls’ and will conclude on April 12.
In the Boys’ overall segment, Rathnayaka CC were ahead with 31 points while Royal College, Colombo were placed second with 20 points while Christ the King College, Ja-Ela were in third place with 15 points.
In the Girls’ overall championship, Lyceum, Wattala were leading with 61 points followed by Rathnayaka CC with 54 points and St. Bridget’s Convent were placed third with 18 points.
Meanwhile, the Girls’ 4X800m Under-18 relay final was won by Rathnayaka CC and the Boys’ 4X800m Under-18 relay final was won by St. Joseph Vaz College, Wennappuwa.
