Rain postpones NE golf

The Sri Lanka Junior Open Golf Championship 2025 which was scheduled to take place from December 21-23 at the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club, was postponed due to rain.

The new date will be notified in due course according to the organisers.

The championship will be divided into four age-based categories to ensure fair competition. 

The Gold division is open to players aged 15 to 18 plus (up to 19 years), the Silver division includes ages 13 to 14 plus (up to 15 years) while the Bronze division is for ages 11 to 12 plud (up to 13 years).  

The youngest participants compete in the Copper division, reserved for golfers 10 years old and below.
