The 13th edition of the Battle of the Golden Lions between Rahula College, Matara and Dharmapala College, Pannipitiya will take place at the Uyanwatta Stadium in Matara today and tomorrow. 
Dharmapala, having won the 2015 encounter lead the series 1-0. The limited over encounter will take place on Sunday at the same venue.
Pasindu Liyanage will lead the Rahula Team and will have Sadew Gamage as his deputy. The final XI will be selected from Sasinu Battage, Minuga Wedamulla, Gevindu Manamperi, Pawara Pabasara, Janiru Wijewardena, Resali Wathwindu, Sandaneth Ranvinda, Sehath Hettiarachchi, Aayu Kaviraj, Nadil Sandesh, Oshan Thenuka, Hasika Kumarapperuma, Selak Peiris and Risinu Geenuka.
Meanwhile, Bisara Anjana will lead the Dharmapala Team and has the able support of Chithun Baddage as his deputy. 
The final XI will be selected from Nulan Senevirathne, Nirmal Colombage, Timoth Pathinayake, Chithma Hirunage, Praveen Ranhiru, Menusha Pabasara, Anuhas Mihiran, Udula Visvajith, Sadika Niduwara, Thimath Thenuja, Nethusha Viduranga, Nethmina Perera, Heshan Dushmantha, Nisal Adeepa and Vimukthi Rashmika
