Oshada slams unbeaten double ton, as Galle make bold reply

Opener Oshada Fernando slammed an unbeaten double to help Galle in reply to Colombo’s 296 resuming from their overnight score of 3 for 1 to end day two making a bold reply of 361 for 5 at the end of the four day National Super League cricket tournament played at the Rangiri Dambulla Stadium.  
Fernando’s double ton which came off in 280 balls comprised 23 boundaries and a six and was associated in three valuable partnerships first of 121 runs for the second wicket with Nishan Peiris followed by 89 runs for the third wicket with Pasindu Sooriyabandara and 104 runs for the fourth wicket with Lakshan Edirisinghe.  
Meanwhile in another match of the same tournament played at the Pallekele Stadium saw Dambulla resuming from their overnight score of 263 for 5 going on to make 392 against Jaffna with Sonal Dinusha who was unbeaten on 37 making a top score of 112 that included 11 boundaries and a six.  
Jaffna in their turn ended the day on 121 for 3. The matches will be continued today.
