Mahanama and DSS post easy wins

Traditional rivals Mahanama College Colombo and D.S. Senanayake College warmed up for their forthcoming match by recording easy first innings wins against De Mazenod and Dharmapala MV Pannipitiya in the Under 19 inter- school matches played at Kandana and Pannipitiya.

Mahanama’s win came on the back of a ton from Sineth Weeraratne supported by half tons from Venura Kaveethra, Thaviru Perera and Chamika Heenatigala and a six wicket haul by Venura Kaveethra.

DSS prevailed thanks to half tons from Janindu Ranasinghe, Shevan Welgama and Shanal Binushka and a five wicket haul by Oshada Perera.
