Madushanka fined for Level 1 offence

Dilshan Madushanka of Dambulla Sixers was fined 10 percent of his match fee and given a demerit point following the Lanka Premier League T20 Cricket Tournament match against Galle Marvels played at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. 

The left-arm fast bowler was handed the fine after the player breached Article 2.5 of the LPL Code of Conduct, which is a Level 1 offence.

He was reported by on-field umpires for using language, actions, or gestures that disparage or could provoke an aggressive reaction from a batter upon his dismissal.

At the inquiry, Madushanka admitted the offense.
