Lyceum girl wins gold at javelin throw

Dulanya Sethuni Sehansa of Lyceum International School Gampaha delivered an outstanding performance by winning the gold medal in the Under-16 javelin throw at the International Schools Athletic Championship 2026 held at the Mahinda Rajapaksa Stadium in Diyagama.
Dulanya’s achievement reflected her dedication and hard work under the guidance of her coaches, including national coach Susantha Kularathne, school coaches Mahesh and Chamali and her personal coach. 

Her victory brought pride to Lyceum International School Gampaha and highlighted her promising future in athletics.
