LOLC, Ceylinco , Sri Lankan and Softlogic win first round matches

LOLC Finance, Ceylinco General Insurance, Sri Lankan Airlines and Softlogic Holdings, advanced to the next round in the on going Mercantile Football Association (MFA) Knock-out Division II tournament 2023.

First round match results:

LOLC Finance received a walk over from Lanka Ashok Leyland   

Ceylinco General Insurance beat NoLimit on penalties; Full times score 1-all ; Penalties: Ceylinco seven and NoLimit six  SriLankan Airlines beat Commercial Bank 2 – nil; KHCC Kumara and MRM Riyaz scored a goal each for the airline.   

Softlogic Holdings beat CW Mackie, 1-nil ; Malindu Thiwanka scored the solitary goal for Softlogic Holdings.   

In the next round, Nations Trust Bank, who drew a bye will meet LOLC Finance and Teejay Lanka, who also drew a bye will meet Softlogic Holdings. BM
