Kirimetiyagara Roman Catholic Boys’ College were victorious in the Mahara Education Division inter-school Elle tournament after a 21-year wait, bringing pride and honour to the entire school community.
Throughout the tournament, Kirimetiyagara RC Boys’ College displayed exceptional teamwork, discipline and determination. Their energetic and spirited performances captivated audiences from the opening match to the final.
In the semi-final encounter they secured a hard-fought 5–3 victory over Kirillawala Central College, earning a place in the championship final. 
Continuing their excellent form, they defeated Henegama Central College 4–1 in the final to claim the Mahara Division Elle Championship title.
The achievement marked the school’s first Mahara Division Elle Championship in more than two decades. The victory stands out as a testament to the dedication and commitment of the players, the strategic guidance of the coaching staff and the unwavering support of the entire school community.
