Jevahn and Kaya to represent Sri Lanka in Japan and Vietnam

Sri Lanka’s top junior golfers, Jevahn Sathasivam and Kaya Daluwatte, are set to represent the country in two international competitions this month.

The duo will compete in both The Royal Junior Tournament in Japan and the 15th Faldo Series Asia Grand Final in Vietnam, marking a significant milestone for Sri Lanka Junior Golf.  
Both Jevahn and Kaya will tee off at The Royal Junior from April 19 and 21 at The Royal Golf Club in Japan. This is an invitation-only tournament attracts elite junior golfers from around the globe.

Jevahn earned his spot based on his current status as the number 1 Junior from Sri Lanka in the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR), while Kaya’s strong international performances in Sri Lanka plus India secured her place in the field plus as the top Sri Lankan girl golfer at present. 

Vietnam hosts the 15th Faldo Series Asia Grand Final at the Laguna Golf Lăng Cô in Da Nang from April 24 to 26.

Both Jevahn and Kaya won the Sri Lanka leg of the Faldo Series, earning their invitations to the Asia Grand Final. Jevahn’s victory was particularly impressive, as he staged a thrilling comeback on the final day to clinch the title, while Kaya continued to assert her dominance in the Girls division.
