India to send 34 athletes for Sri Lanka Nationals

The Athletics Federation of India has decided to send a 34-member strong team for Sri Lanka’s 101th National Athletic Championship 2023. 
Following an invitation sent to Asian and South Asian countries, India has confirmed their participation, Sri Lanka Athletics (SLA) general secretary Saman Kumara Gunawardena told ‘Daily Mirror’ yesterday. 

Maldives, Bangladesh and Pakistan are also expected to confirm their participation in future, the SLA Secretary said. 
The National Athletic Championship will be held from July 28 to 30 at the Sugathadasa Stadium in Colombo. The closing date to submit entries is July 10.
