FINTREX Finance has become the official partner of Hambantota Tuskers in a golf sponsorship.

In a major milestone for Sri Lankan golf, FINTREX Finance has announced a multi-year partnership with the Hambantota Tuskers, one of the pioneering franchises of the newly launched Ceylon Golf League (CGL).

The partnership, revealed at the Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC) marks a significant boost to the development and professional golf in the country.

CGL introduces a franchise-based system inspired by global sporting leagues, bringing a fresh competitive structure to Sri Lankan golf. Eight franchises, each with its own identity and roster, will feature both rising talents and seasoned professionals. The Hambantota Tuskers enter the league with an experienced management team and strong investor backing, aiming to set a high standard on and off the course. FINTREX Finance, a well-established non-bank financial institution regulated by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka says it sees the collaboration as an opportunity to empower the sporting community.

The sponsorship reflects FINTREX’s broader mission to support national talent and contribute to local sporting excellence.

FINTREX Finance in their commitment to creating lasting pathways for young golfers, said the partnership will provide visibility, professional opportunities, and international exposure for players representing the Hambantota Tuskers throughout the league.

With the season fast approaching, the joining of forces between FINTREX Finance and the Hambantota Tuskers is expected to elevate the sport’s profile nationwide. Their shared vision promises to strengthen Sri Lanka’s golfing ecosystem and inspire a new generation of athletes and fans.
