HNB Finance beat SLT in ‘C’ Division final

HNB Finance defeated Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) by 91 runs in the NDB Challenge Trophy MCA ‘C’ Division 50-Over League Cricket Tournament final played at the MCA Grounds.
HNB Finance put into bat finished with a challenging total of 263 for nine from their 50 overs with left-arm spinner Inshanka Siriwardena claiming five for 47 in his 10 overs.
SLT in reply were all out for 172 in 34.1 overs and the chief wrecker was spinner Tharusha Fernando who finished with impressive figures of five for 13 which earned him the Man-of-the-Match Award.
