Dharmapala’s Pabasara bags eight scalps

Impressive bowling figures of 8 for 18 by left arm spinner Menusha Pabasara of Dharmapala MV Pannipitiya against Taxilia Central Horana was the highlight of the first day’s play in the Under 19 inter-school cricket encounters.

The two sides made the identical score of 126 runs and Taxila Central batting the second time ended the day at 9 for 0.

St Thomas’ Kotte was on top against St Mary’s Matugama at Matugama while exchanges were even between Henegama Central and Bandaranayake MV Gampaha in the match played at Henegama.
