Davinna steers England U19 Women to second win

Helped by a 38 ball knock of 56 by Davinna Perrin, England U19 Women registered a convincing seven wicket win over the Australia U19 Women in the U19 Women’s Tri Nation T20 tournament encounter played at the Sooriyawewa Stadium yesterday.   
Australia U19 Women taking first lease of the wicket helped by a top knock of 50 from Amy Smith made a score of 124 for 9. England U19 Women in their run chase was given a solid start of 50 runs in just 26 balls by openers Erin Thomas and Davinna Perrin who shared a match winning stand of 52 runs for the third wicket with Abi Norgrove who made an unbeaten 30 which helped then to race to the target with ease in the 14th over and to record their second win. Today’s match - Sri Lanka U19 Women meet England U19 Women at the same venue.
