Cup finalists decided at Mercantile Sevens

The 53rd Mastercard Mercantile Rugby Football Association Sevens was worked off at the CR & FC grounds in Longdon Place yesterday.

Link Natural, with star-studded players from Kandy SC such as Srinath Sooriyabandara, Tarinda Ratwatte, Shaahid Zumri and Kavindu Perera, booked their Cup semi-final berth with two good wins against Pearl Beach and defending champions JKH.

Link Natural, tipped as favourites to win, will meet Sampath Bank, while in the other Cup semi-final CDB will face Pearl Beach. Final day proceedings will take place today at Longdon Place.
