Colombo District wins badminton title at Youth Games

Colombo District emerged victorious in the men’s badminton event at the 35th National Youth Games held at the National Youth Service Council (NYSC) Indoor Stadium, Maharagama.

The tournament featured the participation of 25 district teams affiliated with the NYSC showcasing the island’s top young badminton talent.

Overcoming strong competition from all districts, the Colombo District team secured the championship with an outstanding display of skill and teamwork. 

According to the organisers, the victory reflected the continued strength of the Colombo District in national youth badminton, highlighting the development of young talent at the district level.
