Chandupa shines for Maliyadeva

Chandupa Abeysinghe cracked an unbeaten ton for Maliyadeva College, Kurunegala against traditional rivals on day one of the 41st Battle of the Rocks big match played at the Welagedara Stadium in Kurunegala.

Chandupa who made an unbeaten 105 was associated in three partnerships of 63 for the second wicket with Rajith Navodya, 54 for the fourth wicket with Dimath Abeysinghe and an unbroken 61 for the seventh wicket with Vinuka Galappaththi as Maliyadeva taking first lease of the wicket made 221 for six.
