CR and FC, having ended as the only unbeaten side after the completion of the first-round matches of the Inter-Club League Rugby Tournament will be seeking to continue their winning streak when they confront traditional rivals Havelock SC in their Super Round fixture at Havelock Park today.

Earlier, in the first-round CR and FC came out easy winners 25-10 against the same opponents at Longden Place.

CR and FC led by Suhiru Anthony will come into this game with loads of confidence after their win against Kandy SC in the last League encounter played at the Nittawela Stadium in Kandy.

The Havies, led by Azmir Fajudeen did not perform up to expectations and were able to secure fourth position having recorded three wins.

Even then, CR and FC will not take any chances as they are aware that a win in this game is crucial in their campaign to lift the coveted League title.

CR Skipper Anthony has led from the front and they will be banking on Thenuka Nanayakkara, Yasas Kavindu, Lasindu Karunatileke, Chemod Muthunayake, Adeesha Weeratunga, Naveen Marasinghe, Gemunu Chethiya, Mursheed Zubair and Shenal Adikaram to deliver the goods.

Havelock SC Skipper Fajudeen too has been in the forefront and will bank on Dinupa Seneviratne (who scored a hat-trick in the match against Air Force SC), Samuel Maduwantha, Chanaka Chandimal and Janith Chandimal.

Meanwhile, Kandy SC will travel down to Colombo to confront third placed CH and FC in another Super Round fixture on February 3 at the Racecourse Ground in Colombo.
In addition, two matches in the Plate segment are also down for decision with Navy SC playing host to Police SC today at Welisara while Army SC will host Air Force SC at Panagoda tomorrow.
