CH and FC started off on a high note as they outplayed Police SC by 29 points to 5 in their opening match of the inter club League rugby championship at the Race Course ground in Colombo yesterday.

It was relatively a one-sided game as the scores indicated and CH could have easily scored more points.

They scored tries through winger Samitha Warnakulasuriya who crossed the line twice unchallenged while Koli Thamanikalu and Oshan Gunaratne scored a try each.

Janith Chandimal converted two tries and also put over a penalty. Kavindu Yasas made one conversion.

Police’s unconverted try was scored by Vihanga Shaveen.
