CCC School of Cricket marks anniversary

CCC School of Cricket celebrated its 27th anniversary, with their annual inter-house cricket tournament, held at the DS Senanayake College ground, Colombo 7 recently. 
Sobers House beat Bradman House by six points to win the Championship. Students, both boys and girls under the age groups of 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and above participated displaying their talents and enjoyed two days of cricket. 
Pawan Ratnayake, Sri-Lankan cricketer, an old boy of the school was the Chief Guest and presented the awards. 
Lindula Kapurubandara was awarded the Most Outstanding Player of the Year Award for his brilliant batting and wicket keeping.   
Championship winners: Under 10: Jayawardena House, Under 11:  Jayawardena House, Under 12: Sobers House, Under 13: Sobers House, Under 14:  Bradman House, Over-14: Tendulkar House.
