Athletic Nationals rescheduled for December 26-29

Sri Lanka Athletics (SLA) has decided to conduct the 98th National Athletics Championships on December 26 – 29.

The Nationals, earlier scheduled to be held on December 5 and 6, has been postponed because of the prevailing health situation in the country.

“The new dates are also subject to the approval of the health authorities,” said SLA General Secretary Prema Pinnewale following a committee meeting held on October 31 via zoom technology.

However, the Junior National Championships which was scheduled to be held on November 21, 22 and 28 has been cancelled.
