Army SC, Wellassa SC dominate National Para Athletic Meet

The 2024 Dialog powered National Para Athletics Championship concluded successfully, with Army Light Infantry Sports Club securing the senior Men’s Championship and the Monaragala Wellassa Sports Club clinching the senior Women’s Championship.
The National Paralympic Committee (NPC) of Sri Lanka organised this premier event at the Mahinda Rajapaksa Sports Complex in Diyagama. 
The championship brought together over 600 athletes from more than 45 sports clubs affiliated with the NPC across various provinces of the country. 
It provided a platform for athletes from three disability groups, namely Men and Women with visual impairments, physical impairments and intellectual disabilities to showcase their talents.
