Army Sports Club would face CH and FC in their bid to secure the  fifth place of the Inter-Club League Tournament in their penultimate  game at Welisara today.

Army with 25 points sitting on fifth place, way behind  fourth placed Havelock Sports Club which has secured 47 points, but the  Soldiers face a tough battle from Navy Sports Club and CH as they look  to finish on a high.   The Sailors who take on Air Force has 24 points while CH  finds themselves in the seventh spot with 23 points and in order to  remain at fifth, Army must clinch a victory today given that Navy are  likely to get the better of Air Force.   CH on the other hand, despite having one of their worst  seasons in the recent times, could still finish fifth should they win  the two remaining games, but they would also require some luck with the  results of Navy’s next two fixtures.

CH backline has barely contributed this season leaving all  the hard work to their pack, and they will have nightmares having to  defend against the likes of Tomasi Caqusa, Sudaraka Dikkumbura, Ashan  Bandara and Thusitha Senanayake.
