Annaya, Vinethya, Apna, Ashen enter semis

The SLTA Yeti Courts Tennis National Championship 2025 which is in progress now at the SLTA tennis courts at Greenpath, Colombo saw Annya Norbert,and Vinethya Dharmaratne in the women’s category along with Apna Perera and Ashen Silva in the men’s category making it to the final of the singles events by coming out victorious in the semifinal encounters played yesterday.
The finalists won their matches with ease by the identical winning margins of two sets to nil with Annaya defeating Eliza Kahagalla and Vinethya overcoming Sandithi Usgodaarachchi while Apna got the better of Methvan Wijemmane and Ashen brushed aside the challenge of Lithum Jayabandu.

Women’s Open - Annaya Norbert beat Eliza Kahagolla 2-0 (6/0, 6/0) Vinethya Dharmaratne beat Sandithi Usgodaarachchi 3-0 (6/2, 6/4)
Men’s Open - Apna Perera beat Methvan Wijemanne 2-0 (6/1, 6/1). Ashen Silva beat Lithum Jayabandu 2-0 (6/3, 6/2)
