Ananda, Musaeus bag SLTA-Yeti tennis titles

Musaeus College and Ananda College emerged as the Boys’ and Girls’ Overall Champions in the SLTA-Yeti Arjan Perera Memorial All-Island Inter-Schools Team Tennis Tournament held at the SLTA Courts in Green Path, Colombo.   

Musaeus, under the captaincy of Inuki Jayaweera, claimed the Arjan Perera Memorial Trophy for the first time in their schools’ tennis history.  

Meanwhile, Ananda College, led by Ransath Peiris, dominated the Boys’ Tournament and retained the Overall Championship title for the second successive year.  

Kalutara BMV put up a fine performance to clinch the Girls’ Division 2 Overall Championship while in the outstation category, Ave Maria Convent, Negombo emerged as the Girls’ Overall Champions.  

In addition, St. Sebastian’s College, Moratuwa secured the Overall Championship in the Boys’ Division 3 Tournament and Maliyadeva College won the Overall Championship in the Boys’ Outstation category.

Boys’: Division 3 Overall Champions: St. Sebastian’s College.   
Division 2 Overall Champions: Ananda College.   
Division 1 Overall Champions: Ananda College,   
Outstation Overall Champions: Maliyadeva College.  
 Girls’ Division 3 Overall Champions: Bishop’s College and Ladies’ College.   
Division 2 Overall Champions: Kalutara BMV.   
Division 1 Overall Champions: Musaeus College.  
 Outstation Overall Champions: Ave Maria Convent, Negombo.
