All-rounder Hirudini excels at AL exams

Hirudini Dassanayake of Girls High School, Kandy obtained 3 As in the Bio Science stream, ranking 12th in the Kandy district at the Advanced Level Exam. She will enter Medical College in the near future. She was an outstanding sportswoman, representing her school and country in chess and karate. She represented Sri Lanka at the 9th Commonwealth Karate Championship in South Africa in 2018 and was adjudged national champion in the same year.
