2nd Battle of the Golden Blues St. Joseph Vaz on top

St. Joseph Vaz Wennappuwa dominated day one proceedings against traditional rivals St Anthony’s Wattala in the low scoring 2nd Battle of the Golden Blues big match played at P Sara Stadium.  

St. Anthony’s taking first lease of the wicket was bowled out for 79 with Himal Ravihansa and Mathian Fernando who snared eight wickets doing the damage.  

St. Joseph Vaz in their turn were 89 for five before play was called off due to bad light.
