240 golfers for Nations Trust Bank Golf Tourney

The Nations Trust Bank (NTB) Golf Championship 2024 will tee off on May 31 for juniors and the main event on June 1 at the Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC).

The main event will tee off at 7.00 a.m. and the second at 1.00 p.m. in the afternoon with a total of 240 golfers in action.

This annual event will be for the Private Banking, American Express Card holders and Inner Circle customers of NTB and selected RCGC Members.

This will be the third edition of the tournament with the competitors vying for honours in the Men’s Ladies’ Masters and senior categories.

Special awards will also be given for the Longest Drive at the eighthhole, closest to the pin at the 13th hole and the overall winner of the tournament.

Meanwhile, the junior event will see its very first year in action with the RCGC Member kids in action with two age groups to be decided. Chief Marketing Officer of NTB, Sanjaya Senarath said: “We are pleased to host yet another enjoyable golf championship with the RCGC.”

“Last year’s event was a success, and we believe this year will offer an even better experience for our customers and business partners.” Captain of the RCGC, Amrith De Soysa said: “We look forward to this year’s Nations Trust Bank Golf Championship. The tournament will celebrate the spirit of golf and support the golfing community in Sri Lanka and significantly contribute to the growth of golf as a sport.”

Nations Trust Bank’s commitment towards this partnership with RCGC extends to the next four years promising an annual Nations Trust Golf Championship until 2028.
