A section in the Pohottuwa party is said to be very unhappy and also angry that the Blue party’s Diyawanna members continuing  to criticize the government while remaining in the government.

They have expressed their surprise and disgust that the Blue party members have intensified their onslaughts on the government despite repeated warnings to bridle their tongues.

Meanwhile, a group of backbenchers have reportedly pointed out to  the government high-ups instances where the secrecy relating to the discussions held at the top table had been violated and urged them to give the walking papers to the Blue party’s two top team members responsible for the leaks, without further delay.

These backbenchers have also pointed out that it is the Blue party members who kindle the discontent and dissent among the members of the other minor political parties within the ruling coalition as well. They have taken the firm stand that the Blue party should be ousted from the coalition for their presence in the government is more of a bane than a boon.

However, the government high-ups had not given a response to their strong demand considering its gravity, they say.
