A high-water bill for a vacated official residence!

This onetime political authority had vacated his official residence when he ceased to hold office about three months ago.

But the local body responsible for maintaining this residence continues to foot a monthly water bill as high as Rs. 11,000 in respect of this residence, they say. Although the political authority has vacated the residence, several security personnel are said to be occupying it without permission. However, the authorities have turned a blind eye to the situation.
