People’s Bank offers Poson Alms Giving (Heel Dāna) to 25,000 devotees observing Sil at Jaya Sri Maha

Hemasiri Fernando – Chairman and N. Vasantha Kumar - CEO/ General Manager of People’s Bank serve Heel Dāna to observers of Sil at the Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi. 

People’s Bank along with People’s Leasing & Finance came together to provide breakfast to 25,000 devotees observing Sil at Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi in Anuradhapura once again. 

The alms- giving was organized by the Buddhist Society of People’s Bank’s Anuradhapura Region, whilst being sponsored by the staff members of People’s Bank and People’s Leasing & Finance. 

This almsgiving was held with the patronage of Venerable Doctor Pallegama Sirinivasa Thero, whilst Hemasiri Fernando – Chairman, People’s Bank and People’s Leasing & Finance, N. Vasantha Kumar -CEO/ General Manager, People’s Bank , D. G. Kumarage - CEO/ General Manager of People’s Leasing & Finance, senior members of the management and staff graced the event.
