CEB cancels leave of all employees until further notice

The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) yesterday announced that all leave of its employees have been cancelled from yesterday until further notice.  

Addressing the media yesterday at the CEB Headquarters, the official said the circular notifying this had been issued and according to it, the CEB employees were not allowed to not take leave without the permission of the Deputy General Manager.   “Travelling to Colombo by CEB office vehicles is strictly prohibited, and if done so, it shall be deemed as misuse of state property.,” it is explained.
