AAUPPC elects office bearers for 2025/2026

The 34th Annual General Meeting of the Alumni Association of the University of Peradeniya-Colombo Chapter (AAUPCC) was held on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at the Main Auditorium (Sanhinda), Sri Lanka Institute of Development Administration (SLIDA), Colombo 07.

D.P. Mendis PC, a past President of AAUP Colombo Chapter, was the Chief Guest and Dhammika Wijayasinghe, Chief Secretary of Western Province, graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour.   

The following office bearers were elected for the term 2025/2026.

The President of the association is Palitha Siyambalapitiya, General Secretary as Chandika Indikadahena, Treasurer, S.M. Gnanarathna, Vice Presidents of the assocation include Jagath Dahanayake, Ranjith De Alwis, Kumudini Kulatunga, Eeasha Nanayakkara and Hasantha Palihakkara, Assistant Secretaries are Shyamalie Perera and Yamuna Abhayawardhane, Assistant Treasurer include Ranjith Karunaratne, Co-Editors are P Balasingham, Neliya Fernando and Fareeza Ghazzali, Coordinator is Chathuranga Weerasinghe and the Auditor is S.C. Mayadunne. 

21 Members were also elected as members of the Council of Management.
