Lotus Roots India–Sri Lanka Artist Project and Exhibition

Lotus Roots, an India–Sri Lanka Artist Project, presented by Delhi-based NGO Empowerment, brought together painters from both countries for a collaborative residency and exhibition in Colombo. Held in the spirit of International Women’s Day, the initiative fostered cultural exchange and creative collaboration among female-identifying artists. Through joint painting sessions and discussions, participants created works later showcased in a curated public exhibition, highlighting shared cultural narratives and strengthening artistic ties between the two nations.
