FRENCH EMBASSY FRANCOPHONIE

Ambassador of France, Remi Lambert recently hosted a cocktail soiree in celebration of the International Month of Francophonie which falls in March each year. A special highlight was the celebration of forty years of the French Embassy’s iconic television programme ‘Bonsoir’ on Sri Lankan television and sixty episodes of Rendez-Vous and the contribution made by its legendary hosts Yasmin Rajapakse and Kumar de Silva to the promotion of Francophonie in Sri Lanka.
