Juvenile delinquents sit GCE

• The Suneetha Vidyalaya in the Prison Camp is the only school providing education facilities to young prisoners

A group of juvenile delinquents in the rehabilitation centre in the Outdoor Prison Camp in Padukka sat the GCE (Ordinary Level) Examination yesterday.   

 An examination centre for them had been established in the Suneetha Vidyalaya in the Prison Camp which is the only school providing education facilities to young prisoners.   

They attended religious observances at the shrine in the rehabilitation centre and bowed before the senior prison officials before they left for the examination centre.
