Air quality drops in several areas

The Air quality has dropped in many areas in Sri Lanka with the worst reported from Polonnaruwa, the National Building Research Organisation ( NBRO) said yesterday.   
NBRO which is the institution that monitors air quality said the air in Polonnaruwa is the most polluted in the country as per the available data. 

The entire population in the district was running a risk of experiencing respiratory issues. Vulnerable persons which includes older generation and children in Colombo, Galle, Anuradhapura, Badulla, Puttalam, Batticaloa and Trincomalee were running the risk of getting such with respiratory aliments according to NBRO.
