Will Maithripala withdraw support to Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe?

• Misunderstandings have arisen between the SLFP faction led by Sirisena and Mr. Rajapakshe

Former President Maithripala Sirisena is reported to have  threatened to withdraw support to Mr. Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe as the  presidential candidate.  

It is reported that some misunderstandings have developed  between the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) faction led by Mr. Sirisena  and Mr. Rajapakshe.  

Mr. Sirisena called for a meeting with his party members.  Some of them requested him not to withdraw support to Mr. Rajapakshe at  all.  

The involvement of Ven. Athuraliye Rathana Thera in the campaign has also been reason for the misunderstanding.
