WP Governor denies knowledge on container clearance

 Western Province Governor Hanif Yusuf today denied any knowledge of 323  containers which were said to have been cleared from the Port without subjecting them to inspection.

“These containers do not belong to me or to the company which I have founded. A false accusation is being made against me,” Governor Yusuf told the media.

The denial came after both SLPP and SJB accused him of getting containers cleared without subjecting them to inspection earlier during the day
