Suspect escapes – PC interdicted

• He had been arrested for selling  Ganja

A police constable was interdicted in connection with the  escape of a suspect from custody, who had been arrested for selling  Ganja. 

The suspect was being taken to the toilet to answer a call of nature and escaped from the constable.   
The 24-year-old suspect was a resident of Ittikattiya in Maradankadawala.  

The PC was interdicted by Anuradhapura ASP D.R.S. Dharmadasa after a preliminary investigation.
Maradankadawala Police are conducting further investigations to arrest the absconding suspect.
