Rotary Club of Colombo South recently presented ‘Vocational Excellence Award’ for 2023 to
Senior Lecturer of the Department of Nursing and Midwifery, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenapura Dr S.M.K.S. Seneviratne. She is credited as the pioneer behind the establishment of the B.Sc. Nursing programme within a conventional university.
