Roshan Ranasinghe too enters the fray

Former Minister of Sports Roshan Ranasinghe officially announced his candidacy for the presidential election last evening.   

The former Minister announced his candidacy during a function which was held at the Foundation Institute.   

It was reported that a few well known personalities such as former Chief Justice Sarath N. Silva will back him.  

Ranasinghe was removed from his ministerial portfolio after some comments he made on Sri Lanka’s cricket administrators.
