Lohan Ratwatte’s secretary shoots himself

• A letter was later found by police written by the private secretary of former Minister Ratwatte in which he has said he would commit suicide due to mental distress

The 50-year-old secretary of former Minister Lohan Ratwatte is suspected to have shot himself,  Police said yesterday. His body was found near Mr. Ratwatte’s office in Mahaiyawa.   Police said the bullet had entered through the victim’s mouth and exited from the back of his head. OIC Katugastota Police CI R. C. Rajapakse is conducting further investigations on the instructions of SSP Anuruddha Bandaranayaka.  A letter written by the deceased saying he would commit suicide was later found.
