Lankadeepa wins seven awards

Our sister paper, Daily Lankadeepa, won seven awards at the Miracle Awards ceremony held at Waters Edge Hotel on Thursday (30th). Among the individual accolades, Sujith Hewajulige was named Best News Editor and Journalist, Lionel Perera won Best Poet, Niroshan Godellage was awarded Best Provincial News Editor, Dasa Hapuwalana took home Best Cartoonist, and Nimal Jayarathne was recognized as Best Provincial Correspondent. In addition, Daily Lankadeepa received the award for Best Website of the Year.
