Inauguration of Shirdi Sai Baba Ashram in Avissawella in March

A Shirdi Sai Baba Ashram, Meditation, and Community Service centre, dedicated to the teachings of Shirdi Sai Baba, will be inaugurated at Elston Estate, Puwakpitiya on March 9, 2025, organizers said.   

The event, which will be attended by devoted followers and community members, will celebrate the vision of the late Mr. Eassuwaren, a revered humanitarian known for his contributions to spiritual harmony, it said in a statement.   

The ashram, will emphasize the principles of faith (Shraddha) and patience (Saburi), serving as a sanctuary for meditation and selfless service. With a mission to foster unity and upliftment, the center will aim to welcome individuals from all walks of life, transcending cultural and religious boundaries.   

The inauguration ceremony will feature esteemed Guruji Dr. Chandra Banu Sathpathy, founder of the Global Shirdi Sai Foundation in India, who will share his spiritual insights with attendees. The event will be further enlivened by a performance from renowned bhajan and ghazal singer Shri Raviraj Nasery, whose soulful music will celebrate the spirit of Shirdi Sai Baba.
