Future SJS government will cooperate with AKD

Colombo, October 02 (Daily Mirror)- A future Samagi Jana Sandanaya (SJS) government will cooperate with incumbent President Anura Kumara Dissanayake in the event it secures a majority in Parliament at the General elections, its leaders said today.

SJS leaders Ranjith Madduma Bandara, Kabir Hashim, Mano Ganesan, Dayasiri Jayasekera and Dullas Alahapperuma told the media that if a government led by them comes to power it will cooperate with the incumbent President.  

“We will not jeopardise the work carried out by Dissanayake,” all the leaders told the media today.  “People should not allow the same party which holds the Presidency to secure a majority in Parliament,” the leaders added. (YP)
