The Daily Mirror was awarded the ‘Most Popular English newspaper 2025’ at the Global Business Excellence Awards held at the BMICH last evening.

Seen in the picture is Daily Mirror Editor-In-Chief Jamila Husain and Indika Jayamaha, Head of Advertising - Assistant General Manager, Wijeya Newspapers Ltd., accepting the award from the organisers of the award ceremony.

The Daily Mirror sister paper Lankadeepa was awarded the ‘Most Popular newspaper 2025’ and the Daily FT was awarded the ‘Most Popular Business Newspaper 2025’ at the ceremony.
